TLDR: download, install, and run Corelink server on a Raspberry Pi 4 and confirm it works by connecting with another client and testing sending and receiving data.

To accomplish this goal, first the Corelink server was installed locally on computer and run (which was tested running the example sender and listener). After, the Raspberry Pi was setup with Rasbian and authenticated with the NYU wireless network. Then, on the Pi, the corelink server was installed and connected to an outside client to verify that it works.
